Lonzo Ball Assures Bulls Fans of His Return This Season

The second pick of the 2017 NBA draft, Lonzo Ball, has been missing from the game for nine hundred and forty-two days due to injuries, including his bad knee. On a brighter note, the Chicago Bulls guard seems quite upbeat about playing in the NBA again.

Now, this is with respect to Ball’s last game, which he played in January 2022 after UCLA and LA Lakers, respectively. In his career, he has suffered injury after injury that has kept him off the court for several months at a time, leading some to wonder if he would ever make it back into the league.

However, there are new developments that give hope to fans.

Ball Updates Recovery Progress

Ball was approached at LAX by TMZ Sports and gave an update on his recovery. According to him, “[Recovery] going well,” Ball said, trying to keep his spirit high amongst energized Bulls fans waiting eagerly for his return.

“Are you going to be ready for next NBA season starting this fall?” asked TMZ Sports Lonzo Ball, to which he replied confidently, “[Fans can expect] me back on the court. That’s all I want to do.” This statement should make Chicago Bulls Fans very happy as they eagerly wait for him to come back.

Injury (that) recently occurred when Ball averaged 13 points per game in addition to making assists 5.1 times every match, thus making him one of Chicago’s key players. He had been a valuable player so much so that when they acquired him through a trade in 2021 from the New Orleans Pelicans, they decided to keep him with them under a four-year $85 million contract extension.

This year means a lot for both himself within the NBA platform and the Chicago Bulls because nobody wants anything negative before free agency knocks at their doorsteps in 2025. A successful turnaround this year will go a long way toward securing his next contract and continuing with his professional basketball career.
